I went to La Paz to film a short documentary about an American couple who had given their lives to something bigger than themselves. Martin and Suzie spent 27 years in La Paz equipping and training local church leaders. Despite facing a mountain of health issues, Martin and Suzie stayed strong in their faith and love for each other.
I immediately knew what kind of people they were when I met the people from their church. Every single person from the church and the surrounding underserved neighborhoods had such respect for these two.
Martin and Suzie are such wonderful people, and i know their sacrifices will long be remembered and legacy long lasting.
