Narrative and documentary work is where my love for filmmaking started — and honestly, where it still lives.
The short films and documentaries I've made over the years aren't just portfolio pieces. They're the projects that keep me honest about why I picked up a camera in the first place. There's something about telling a story with no commercial agenda — just a subject, a camera, and something worth saying — that reminds me what all of this is really for.
At the end of the day, every project I take on, commercial or otherwise, comes back to the same question: what does this story need to be told right? Sometimes that's an ARRI and anamorphic glass. Sometimes it's a 16mm film camera and available light. The tools follow the story — never the other way around.
